On Wednesday night, I saved a kitten's life. When I just got off my part-time job and ready to get my scooter, I saw a kitten meowing right in the middle of the road. She was so helpless that staying there without any action. The worst of all was that there were so many cars and scooters passing very close by her. It totally frightened me off. Therefore, I parked my scooter right away on the sidewalk, and then took her away from the road. After that I took her to the near park at least keep her away from the danger. However, I am still worried about her. I really hope that there will some nice guys take her home and keep her well.

"When I just got off my part-time job and ready to get my scooter," should be "When I was ready to get on my scooter just after finishing my part-time job".

"She was so helpless that staying there without any action." should be "She was so helpless that she wasn't even moving."

"It totally frightened me off." means that you ran away. All you need to say is something like this: "I was afraid that she would be killed."

While you might have saved that kitten from being run over by a bike or car, I doubt very much that you saved it from dying very soon. If it wasn't moving in the middle of the road, that means that it was unable to take care of itself. That might mean that it's mother had abandoned it or maybe dropped it while carrying it from one place to another. The kitten will most likely die of starvation or some other form of natural death. Probably some hungry stray dog will eat it.

Nature may seem to be cruel, but only those life forms most able to survive make it in the wild. That means that the ones who live are almost always the strongest. It's no longer true for people and their pets, however. We make choices based on morality and sentimentalism, neither of which are positive forces in the natural world. And we have the technology to destroy the strongest and the best other life forms for silly reasons of our own (think sharks and snakes and whales and elephants).

I don't think you did anything wrong by saving the kitten from being crushed to death by a tire, but I don't think you made a real difference in the length of that animal's life.
